Hi Mr. and Mr. Morris :-)
Here is the info regarding what I'm trying to accomplish. Any
thoughts are appreciated.
----------------------------------------------------
Project in a nutshell:
Installing one or two clothes dryer type outlets in my
garage.
My thoughts:
Install sub panel with two 25 or 30A breakers.
Run 50A capable cable/wires/conduit from existing 50A
breaker in panel box to sub panel.
Wire and Install 14-30 receptacle(s)

Background info
---------------------------------------------------
What exists today:
Breaker box by garage door (link to picture)
Wooden stud between two garage doors for mounting
(link to picture)
Existing 50A breaker (#19 & 20) (link to picture)
(Note:
The hot tub this breaker was used for has been removed. The cable
was disconnected at the hot tub and capped off, it is still
connected to the box.)
Adapter L6-30R to L14-30P (link to picture)
Parts I have not purchased yet:
- Sub Panel
- Breakers (25 or 30A)
- Conduit/wires/cables
- NEMA 14-30 Receptacle(s)
Planned use:
A Clipper Creek LCS-25P EVSE (240V 25A) (Works and draws
basically the same as a clothes dryer.)
The LCS-25P already has a L6-30
plug (Link to picture of
unit) (Link to spec sheet)
